Course: Drogheda [A1.1] (English)
Learning in our FLEX course is characterised by a high level of personal activity. The focus is on speaking the foreign language. Alternating social forms (partner, group and individual work), varied work tasks, many communicative exercises and a motivating classroom atmosphere ensure a positive learning experience and effective learning. What you learn will help you to master professional and private situations.
General Language
You learn to introduce yourself and to give and ask information about yourself (origin, nationality, place of residence and work). You will acquire basic vocabulary from the areas of home, family, traffic, learn to express weights and measures and to ask and answer questions about the time.
After this initial knowledge, you will learn to describe the times of day, days of the week, months and seasons and the weather. You will be able to talk about your leisure activities and express your needs and answer questions when shopping or in a restaurant.
In the last part of the course you will learn to communicate when travelling, in a hotel, on the phone and when visiting a doctor and also to express your needs by making a request or a demand. You will learn to talk about past actions and events and to form sentences with “if” or “because”. Finally, you will be able to describe your daily routine and talk in a simple way about your abilities, duties, wishes and preferences.
