Course: Bruxelles [C1.3] (French)

Learning in our FLEX course is characterised by a high level of personal activity. The focus is on speaking the foreign language. Alternating social forms (partner, group and individual work), varied work tasks, many communicative exercises and a motivating classroom atmosphere ensure a positive learning experience and effective learning. What you learn will help you to master professional and private situations.

General Language

The four skills – reading, listening, writing and speaking – are practised in a systematic and practice-oriented way, and important grammatical units are repeated and deepened. You talk about different topics such as work, cars, the media, people and cities and you expand your vocabulary and your ability to express yourself in these areas. You will be exposed to both professional and literary texts and press articles. You listen to radio programmes, telephone calls, surveys and round tables.

You will also have the opportunity to conduct telephone conversations and interviews or to participate in discussions in a role-playing game, for which you will receive useful information. You will practice your writing skills by writing letters (formal letter, private letter, reader’s letter, application letter) or small texts on given topics.
